The shrine of SULTAN BAHOO is located in Garh Maharaja, District Jhang Punjab. It was originally built on BAHOO’S gravesite until the CHENAB RIVER changed its course causing the need to relocate twice and as witnessed by those present at the time of relocation, claims that the Holy body of Hazrat Sakhi Sultan UL Aarfeen Sultan Bahoo was still intact at the time. It is a very famous shrine, and the annual URS festival commemorating his death is celebrated there with great fervor on the first Thursday of JUMADA AL-THANI month. People came from far-off places of Sindh, Balochistan and Punjab to join the celebrations. The URS Mubarak celebration was held at ASTANA ALIYA BARA DARI. A well-mannered URS Mubarak was organized under the supervision of Hazrat Sahibzda Pir Mohammad Khan Sultan and his family. The URS Mubark (JALSA) was started with the recitation of holy Quran. many SANA KHAWAN AND ULMA-E-KARAM address the people.After the completion of program hundreds of MUREEDEN along with Sahibzada Pir Mohammad Khalid Sultan and his family went to Darbar Aliya Sultan BAHOO to present 1400 CHADDARS and Many kilograms of rose patels.A Sultani Langer was distributed among the devotees. The URS Mubarak was ended with the DUA.
